NYC Ebola Patient’s Condition Improving

Doctors treating the New York City Ebola patient upgraded his condition from “serious but stable” to “stable” on Saturday.

Craig Spencer, a doctor who treated Ebola patients in Guinea, is receiving medical care at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan.

The New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation said the upgrade in his condition is due to his “clinical progress and response to treatment.”

While Ebola has no known cure, Spencer received a blood transfusion from another U.S. aid worker who recovered from Ebola earlier this year.
