The Garden State’s top executive has dropped close to 100 pounds over the past year since undergoing lap band surgery, according to reports.
”It’s very gratifying to see that he lost so much weight [. . .] given all the priorities he’s gone through recently and emotionally,” Dr. Charles Simone, one of President Ronald Reagan’s physicians, told New Jersey’s WWOR-TV.
Christie, who is also chairman of the Republican Governors Association, has been shedding weight in order to be more physically fit for a presidential run, political observers say.
