Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is expected back at work early next week after undergoing a medical procedure to implant a heart stent, her spokesperson told The Associated Press.
“She expects to be on the bench on Monday,” Kathy Arberg said. The justices are scheduled to hear oral arguments on Monday.
Arberg told the news service that Ginsburg was released from MedStar Washington Hospital Center on Thursday.
The Supreme Court released a statement late Wednesday saying that the 81-year-old justice underwent “a coronary catheterization procedure … to place a stent in her right coronary artery.”
