Ben Carson: Americans Deserve a ‘Re-Vote’ on Obamacare

The testimony of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber before Congress is proof that deception was used to pass the healthcare legislation, retired neurosurgeon and potential 2016 Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson said Friday on Newsmax TV’s “America’s Forum.”

“If there’s any decency left in us as a nation, we should re-vote it,” he said. We should talk about it again and re-vote it.”

The majority of Americans are opposed to Obamacare, especially now that they know what it entails, he added.

“If we let this stand as it is, it sets a precedent that says whatever you can get through by hook or by crook, it’s OK. That is not what America was supposed to be. People have got to stand up. I mean if we allow these kinds of things to continue, the moral fabric of our nation completely erodes, we become something else completely.”

During his testimony, Gruber apologized for having repeatedly said that enacting Obamacare relied on Americans’ “stupidity.”
