IT’S NOT just Rep. Paul Ryan’s plans for Medicare that are stirring controversy.
Ryan, the running mate of GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, is drawing political fire for his staunch anti-abortion views. Democrats and women’s groups have labeled the Wisconsin Republican an “extremist” for his votes on abortion-related legislation.
“There is a lot that New Yorkers have to fear,” said Andrea Miller, president of NARAL Pro-Choice New York.
